Sam Margrave

As CEO of a theatre and community hub, Sam Margrave leads the organisation by setting it’s strategic vision and ensuring alignment with its mission to serve the community through the arts. He secures funding, oversees budgeting, and manages day-to-day operations to ensure financial sustainability and operational efficiency. Sam fosters strong community relationships, advocates for the arts, and collaborates with the other Trustees to implement policies. He supports artistic programming, balancing innovation with community engagement, and leads staff and volunteers to create a vibrant, inclusive environment.

Vice Chief Executive

Nikki Smith

As Vice CEO of a theatre and community hub, Nikki Smith aids in driving the organisation’s mission and strategic goals. She helps in fundraising, budget management, and daily operational oversight to maintain efficiency. Nikki strengthens community ties, promotes the arts, and works closely with the Board of Directors. She ensures artistic and community programs align with organisational objectives, and leads staff and volunteers, fostering an inclusive and dynamic atmosphere.

Director of Programming | Jo Browning

The Director of Programming at Bedworth Civic Hall curates and manages a dynamic annual program of diverse and engaging events, including music, theatre, dance, comedy, and community activities. This role involves strategic planning, budget management, and fostering relationships with artists and production companies to secure high-quality performances. The Director of Programming collaborates with the marketing team to promote events, engages with the local community to develop inclusive programming, and leads a team to ensure smooth event execution.

Director of Technical | Craig Barnes

As Director of Technical at Bedworth Civic Hall, Craig Barnes ensures the smooth and safe operation of all technical aspects within the venue. He liaises with incoming companies to meet their technical requirements, oversees the setup of lighting, sound, and AV equipment, and maintains all technical equipment to meet health and safety standards. Craig leads and supports technical volunteers and visiting technicians, manages rosters, and ensures his team is well-trained. He also attends management meetings, provides progress reports, manages the department’s budget, and ensures compliance with health and safety legislation.

Director of Marketing and Communications | Martin Foley

As Director of Communications and Marketing at Bedworth Civic Hall, Martin Foley develops and implements innovative Marketing and PR strategies to enhance the venue’s public presence. He collaborates with producers and agencies on marketing initiatives, manages digital marketing efforts, and oversees content creation for the website and social media channels. Martin engages with the community and local businesses to strengthen partnerships, handles media relations, and manages the Civic Hall’s brand, ensuring consistency and quality in all marketing outputs. He attends management meetings, reports on progress, and manages the department’s budget, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Director of Estates and Facilities | Tom Browning

Tom, in collaboration with John, is responsible for the strategic and operational management of all facilities, ensuring they are safe, well-maintained, and meet the needs of the community. This role includes overseeing day-to-day operations, implementing maintenance programs. The Director’s aim to lead a team of facilities staff, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. They will also engage with stakeholders to enhance the Civic Hall’s services and promote sustainability initiatives. This position demands strong leadership, excellent project management skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality facilities for public use.
